Why Does Cargo Shift Inside a Container?
Void space between pallets or cargo units is a common cause of cargo shifting inside a container. Throughout transit, cargo is also subject to continuous vibration, acceleration/braking, changes in direction, and handling at ports.
Dunnage air bags are placed into these voids to create a holding force that helps restrict cargo movement throughout transit.
