How to Choose the Right Dunnage Air Bag Size for Containers

Step 1: Measure the void that needs filling

Before choosing a size, measure the actual void width between the two cargo surfaces, or between cargo and the container wall. The height of the contact surfaces should also be recorded to ensure the air bag makes even contact on both sides.

Step 2: Compare against common sizes

CARGENTRA currently offers common sizes such as 80×120 cm, 90×180 cm, and 100×220 cm. If the void doesn't match a standard size, a custom project size can be considered.

The bag size should be somewhat smaller than the void for easy installation, then inflated to fill the gap without placing excessive pressure on the cargo.

Step 3: Confirm with the technical team
